I leave my house to hang with friends,
to tend to the social side
I too often forget to feed.
We speak of solidarity, humanity,
what we’ve been watching on TV,
huddled down below in the basement

And I hide my headache,
as Mars – my ruling planet in my first house – menaces me.
And I could have stayed home,

But my fifth house is a flurry of activity,
creativity and community careening
to the top of my mind,
and if I’d failed to follow them
